"Los ojos en China": Un proyecto muestra la cara desconocida del país asiático

China es un popular destino turístico, y cada año viajeros de todo el mundo visitan el país para ver sus monumentos de fama mundial y sus lugares históricos. Sin embargo, los fotógrafos Kevin Frayer y Frédéric Dufour han decidido mostrar al mundo, vía Instagram, otro fascinante aspecto del país: su diversidad.

Frayer y Dufour comenzaron a desarrollar su idea en Instagram en junio, con el fin de mostrar al gigante asiático desde la mayor cantidad de ángulos posibles, informa 'The Huffington Post'. Denominado Los ojos en China, (Eyes on China), el proyecto cuenta con imágenes tomadas por más de 20 fotógrafos extranjeros y chinos en todo el país.

Los temas de las fotos impresionan por su diversidad, incluyendo a una mujer transexual en la ciudad de Cantón preparándose para reunirse con la prensa, aficionados al fútbol animando a su equipo en Pekín, niños con máscaras protectoras contra la polución aérea, una vista del pintoresco Lago del Oeste, imágenes Guerreros de terracota y la Ciudad Prohibida, entre otros.

"Sentimos que había una necesidad de dar una visión más amplia de un país increíblemente dinámico, diverso y complicado", explicó Dufour. "No es ninguna sorpresa descubrir que a la gente en China le encanta la fotografía tanto como en cualquier otro lugar", añadió Frayer.

Morning Guangzhou! Two men were fishing in the pond of Xian Village which is in the center of Guangzhou city. There was a conflict between locals and real estate developers for more than 7 years because of the uneven compensation and the corruption of Xian village leaders.
