Un hombre armado con varios rifles retuvo a los bomberos dentro de su casa durante varias horas. Inicialmente los rehenes eran cinco, pero el delincuente soltó a uno de ellos. Varias unidades de servicios de socorro acudieron al lugar para intentar liberar a los bomberos capturados. Según datos preliminares, los bomberos llegaron al local en respuesta a una llamada convencional de emergencia. Una vez dentro de la vivienda, se encontraron al hombre armado.
